Over 16,000 people prayed to receive Jesus this week through the outreach at our church.  Teams of hundreds of people went out every day into nursing homes and into the streets and told people about God's grace.  The good news is just too good to pass up.  16,000!  That's alot.  Praise God!  I love this kind of outreach.  It is so non-churchy.  It's just good ol fashioned sharing of the Good News with whomever will listen.

If you took Bill Gates' net worth, broke it down into $1 bill increments, and laid them end to end, the bills would stretch 3.8 million miles -- to the moon and back over 8 times. They could paper over all of Manhatten 7 times, or be stacked 2,690 miles high -- watch out for satellites. They would weigh 40,000 tons.  He could give $6.70 to every human being on the planet before running out of money.

Hi Xanga World!  It's been awhile.  It has been a busy summer.  So far, our summer activities include....caribbean cruise (Jamaica, Grand Caymen, and Cozumel), teaching summer school,  clearing brush along fence line, working on a project at church, resizing wood deck, cleaning and protecting wood deck, sucking unwanted rain water out of basement, cleaning siding on house, new bathroom tile and trim, new storm door, new basement door, overhaul of some faulty outlets, adding an outdoor electrical outlet, new light fixtures in Alex's room, hall, and dining room area,  new security system, new dryer ventilation system, tree trimming, lots of meat grilling, reading lots of good books, etc.  And there are some more similar activities to come.  It's been a productive summer so far.   I hope you are all doing well.
